Years 9 and 10 students wanted to raise awareness of plastic challenge facing our beaches and seas. Plastic pollution is posing a huge threat to environmental conditions and our young people sought to ensure that their wider community understood the consequences of its continuous use. Using a combination of animations and displays, rangatahi held their display in July at the Palmerston north city library where peers, whanau and wider community had the opportunity to learn of plastics and its impact on our environment.
